Simona Ephraim Foundation

We are a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Ghana, dedicated to the awareness, prevention, control, and support of individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD).

Founded out of compassion and a deep desire to make a difference, SEF operates within the legal framework of the Companies Code 1963, Act 179 of the Republic of Ghana. We exist to bring hope, care, and empowerment to persons and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease — through education, early testing, community programs, and healthcare support. Our work focuses not only on saving lives but also on helping warriors live with dignity and purpose.

At SEF, we believe that with the right awareness, medical support, and social empowerment, Sickle Cell Disease can be effectively managed and preventable deaths can be reduced. Together, we strive to transform Sickle Cell care in Ghana using modern, innovative, and globally proven strategies.
